Tuesday, October 18th, Boulder’s Energy Future with Special Guest, Hunter Lovins

On Tuesday, Oct 18th from 5:00-7:00 pm a special presentation with Hunter Lovins, President and Founder of Natural Capitalism, will take place on the CU Campus.  Lovins will discuss the larger topic of sustainability and whether a municipal electrical utility will enable Boulder to achieve greater equity, ecological health, and economic prosperity, or whether these goals are better met through continued partnership with Xcel.  A debate between supporters and opponents of municipalization will immediately follow.

For Xcel:
Bob Bellemere: Involved in most of the municipalization cases in the past 10 years and a registered engineer with over 25 years in the utility industry
Yazan Fattaleh: CU Student

For Boulder Light and Power: 
Jim Hartmann: Local businessman, architect and energy investor who has lived in Boulder since 1980   Adam Estroff: CU Student
